Meditation is one of the easiest ways to give your mind a break from an endless stream of thoughts and sensory impressions. The practice of meditation is found in all corners of the globe and is not bound to any one correct method, and any person of any faith can meditate.
Meditation is taking time to get in touch with our true nature. The practice of meditation brings us to a state of harmony and equilibrium within our bodies, energies and mind. By becoming calm, silent and withdrawing our senses from the world, we can reflect on anything and everything in a more profound way.
Modern scientific research has shown regular meditation practices increase immunity and energy levels, enhance sleep and mental clarity, reduce stress and anxiety, lower blood pressure, cholesterol and muscle tension, and gain greater control over emotions resulting in increased happiness and vitality.
During your meditation classes at Harmony Chiropractic: A Creating Wellness Centre, you will learn to stay focused through breathing techniques, guided meditations, word repetition and journaling.

Integrative Meditation Program

In 6 weeks, you will learn 6 methods to help you increase breathing efficiency, confidence and physical and emotional balance. And research results have confirmed these "Relaxation" techniques increase longevity and, cerebral blood flow to ward off Alzheimer's.
You will learn how to relax anywhere, anytime, day or night, and You will be able practice each method until it becomes part of your daily routine.
Take home handouts are provided, in addition to class discussion to maximize your learning experience.
